Exciting to see this kind of innovation in TA! The multi-factor approach is particularly interesting. Looking forward to seeing how this performs across different market conditions.
There is a fair amount of work required to trade each one of these.
I'm trading with a 100k portfolio size, thus most trades at 0.5% are around $500 - I choose to trade larger stocks than $500 as well. The TP when taken is often very small - I have kept a trading journal and have logged 109 trades with the AI version, and 41 with the previous one.
For a combinaiton of both, assuming that I sold those still in play at the current value, I would net $691. Not a lot for the continued time investment. What I like about these is that the time investment is all up front, when the trade is initiated, and I only have to log the trade when it sells, and dont need to monitor them.
Some of the trades have a decent TP amount, while others have less than $20 - I may choose to only trade those signals that have a minimum TP so the effort/money invested is less compared to the potential return.
Today I've looked at the 3 signals I got today when the signal arrived or within the first 10 minutes, and the tradingview indicator isn't showing any TP or SL.
HI again! I have another question when it comes to posting buy signals and then later a OPEN signal. I was looking at SPX500 on the 1H chart and there was a buy signal posted on a strong green candle. The price then hit the TP(although the purple TARGET was not shown) and reversed also hitting the SL level. 13 candles later there is a blue OPEN mark on the chart. Does that mean that the position should not be opened until the BLUE box appears? How do we know whether to enter the position on the GREEN BUY or BLUE OPEN? Would love to post a picture but can't seem to be able to do that. Thank! :)
I am also confused on how to get access to this... my trading view name is strub_christy. I would like to have access to the True Price Indicator. What do I need to purchase in order to get that?
I would REALLY appreciate it if you liked and restacked the post on Substack for visibility. This will allow me to assign more developers to this task and improve it faster. We spent hundreds of hours on this.
Excited for the indicator. The signals are great. Enjoy them building me an "active and dynamic watchlist." Tracking the results of the signals in excel (not optimal but kind of fun). Trying to get an average timeframe of when the winners hit profit targets. Hoping to develop a rough idea on trade duration for options contract selecton. Thanks for your hard work and communication. Excited for the future.
Thank you so much. I will be showcasing every update to the indicator every couple of days until it's released. thank you for the faith in me. I know some signals were not great, but this was a difficult period and we are just starting this thing. We have almost figured it all out and the AI component ties the Signals and the Indicator together.
Have you madr sure the signals aren't repainted vy any chance? In my experience this happens a lot and might show extremely optimistic backtest results.
definitely not repainted. Each signal leaves entry/stop loss/take profit trace. Of course it's not always right, but you can see while using the indicator, the confidance in the signal.
Me too! I'm already trading using it for a long time. But it needs to be perfect so that people who don't understand what's happening under the hood manage to make great use of it!
Is this going to be long only like the signals? It looks like there are obvious short opportunities with the color change but just curious how you use it. Thanks for your work!
We definitely could add short signals as an option but I don't want to encourage people to short as there is enough money to make longing even in a bear market.

Thanks, bro! It's gonna be THE BEST!

I appreciate your thoughts.
You can change the Risk/Reward ratio which is SL/TP to anything you want!

I will post a guide this week ok? It's hard to explain these things in the comments since I can't post screenshots here. thanks.
Yes of course that is OK :) That sounds like a really good plan, to share some settings and functionality. Thank you!!
welcome! Any problems, send me emails.

TradingView free version will work with the indicator with a lot of limitations so you have to decide about that. Read here: https://stockinsider.substack.com/p/did-you-know-that-you-can-get-60
And a subscription to my Substack gives you access to the indicator then.
Wow this is exciting!!! How do we gain access to it? My tradingview username is mrtoast
Done.
Thank you SO MUCH for your support!

Thank you! Sure will. You are awesome! Been following for a while and you do really good work, thank you so much!
you're welcome
One question. I donβt see any alerts available at this stage. Will those be added later? Thanks
Yes. We will add alerts in beta. thanks!
