On such a short time frame a depends on which day you got in. There might have been a very bad day for the portfolio in August and a very good day for SPY(well, lots of them were VERY GOOD). Actually FOS25 is outperforming FOS75 right now.
Another factor is that buying 25 stocks through your brokerage cost you much more in fees than just buying SPY. I don't know what kind of broker you're using. I'm not including fees in these calculations, but, long-term they will be irrelevant.
But these portfolios are meant to be held long-term and withstand market changes and recessions, and the fact that they are even close in performance to SPY which has NVIDIA, and they don't is incredible.
Iβve implemented the Fortress of Solitude stock picks on Trading212 and can vouch that it is performing well. A quick question though: in the presented analysis, does this assume rebalancing from time-to-time to give the stocks the same proportion within the portfolio or do you just let the pot of money do what itβs going to do?
On that point, whether to rebalance a portfolio, how to weight, etc. would be very interesting to hear your thoughts on.

Do you have such analysis for FOS25?
Iβve implemented it with real money since 27th August 2024.
So far SPY is up 4.52% while FOS25 is 2.71%.

When it comes to weights, it's all equally weighted at the start, so 4% each on FOS25 and 1,33% on FOS75.
