The Signals Algorithm was evolving over months. It was initially planned to be a mid-term thing, but after testing we concluded that it's much better to day trade it this way and have another service for mid-term trading.
We simply didn't know. Backtesting only goes so far (really not very far).
Hi Jack, thanks for sharing. Iβm a bit confused about how to day trade using Telegram signals. Letβs take SMCI for an example, With a stop loss of 7.5% and a take profit of 15%, how can a stock move that much within a single day?
it can't. I have already reduced the multiplier on ATR for stop losses and take profits, and I will adjust them until they are more "normal."
I still advise manually looking at each chart when trading.
These take profits and stop losses are remnants of the algorithm, which assumes we are mid-term trading. And while it's solid math, day trading, these signals, as explained in combination with the Macro Paradox, give much higher returns.
That last point about not holding positions overnight was a vital piece of info!! Why only mentioned now?

It's very useful as part of my analysis. Thanks a lot.
